Established in Los Angeles in 2025

Artists building infrastructure for artists.

Daffodil Telephone Entertainment began with a practical question: what systems would working artists build for themselves if creative identity—not industry machinery—came first?

The founder story

Close to the work. Serious about the structure.

Alex Yeomanson and Howie Fitzgerald founded DTE as working musicians who were already writing, rehearsing, recording, booking and producing their own projects. The company grew from the need to connect those creative activities with clear calendars, budgets, distribution, promotion, touring and accountability.

DTE remains intentionally hands-on. The founders work inside the projects they manage, which creates direct knowledge of the artistic, logistical and financial choices behind a release or live performance.

That artist-led perspective does not replace professional systems. It is the reason DTE builds them.

Purpose

Sustainable creative growth

Build careers and catalogs with intention, equity and a realistic understanding of available resources.

Model

Management + label-style services

Strategy and execution across releases, touring, campaigns, merchandise and operations.

Scope

Selective and hands-on

DTE is open to selective inquiries rather than operating a high-volume submission model.

Founders

Two working artists. Complementary operating roles.

Alex and Howie jointly guide DTE’s artists and major company decisions. Their responsibilities overlap by design, while each founder brings a distinct center of gravity.

Alex Yeomanson

A singer-songwriter, performer and creator of Mangos & Tangos, Alex leads from the creative center of each project. Her DTE work includes artist development, songwriting and show development, visual direction, content and the translation of an artist’s identity into a public-facing body of work.

Howie performs with both Second Paloma and Mangos & Tangos and manages DTE’s professional-audio capabilities.

Company timeline

Early-stage, active and building in public.

DTE does not present itself as larger than it is. The company’s public record focuses on completed work, current artists and the infrastructure being built for the next stage.
